Payments to hosts

Hi All, I'm a new hosts and was never asked for my banking details and couldn't find anything in this regard. Furthermore I couldn't find anything re. deposits. Any hint will be highly appreciated.

@Helga27  Go to your Account and select payout preferences.  Try looking in the Help Center for details about payout.  Use search term payout and you will find a great deal of information about the payout side of your new business.  Also, you can use this community site for many issues by just using the search feature.   There is a great deal of information through out the Air BNB platform but sometimes it take a bit of persistance but it is worth it.  Good luck!!

AirBnB does not take deposits - guests pay upfront, the full amount, when they book. You are then paid approx 24 hours after your guest checks in. You can set up a security deposit, which is basically an agreement by the guest that they will pay up to a certain amount if damage is done (and some other conditions are met re proof, etc)
