Payout method ERROR

Dear Sir/Madam, 

 

I am trying to connect my buissiness bank acount number as a payout method in the settings of Airbnb. 

 

Once I fill in all the information needed such as IBAN, SWIFT number, contact details etc and reaching the end of the proccess, there is an automated message saying. 

 

''We are unable to complete submitting the payout info. 

There was an error processing the request. ''

 

I am not sure what I did wrong. I tried adding as address both the bank's address (Post address) and the company's address but I am not sure what went wrong. 

 

I would appreciate your help.

Hello All

I too have a payout method error though I have not changed any of my accounts and all was well just a week ago.

Is there a telephone number to call Airbnb in Australia to rectify this?

Hi Sigrid, 

I have had the same issue this morning. I called AirBnB call centre and they just told me is the bank and they won’t do anything about it. I checked with the bank, nothing is wrong with the account!!! I used the same bank account for the last 3.5 years with AirBnB. 

I believe that this is a way to slow down our payments or not being paid at all. I am so upset about, I will make a complaint at the Authorities if no action will be taken by AirBnB within 24 hours. 

Customer support is non existent with AirBnB, don’t expect much!

Hello all

 

I have been receiving regular payments for my multiple listings and no issues until today. I received error messages about my bank account so I switched to my PayPal as my default, then I got an error message about my PayPal account. I added two more bank accounts, and have received errors on those as well. Seems very strange. I am wondering if the Airbnb payment system has been hacked as it seems quite strange that hosts are having issues all of a sudden with accounts that have been working perfectly up until now..

 

I am going to check in with Support and see what they have to say. Will post back here is there is a solution.

AirBnb's management of their technical problem is disappointing. I have tried numerous times to re set the ban account details and upon reading this forum, find out it’s an AirBnb issue. Get your act together Airbnb and communicate to your customers now about acknowledging your technical problem and what you are doing about it.

I too have had the same problem this morning, here in Victoria, Australia. I was unable to reach anyone on the Help Line but after " updating my payout", I received a security alert email that this had been done, yet tonight I received another email that my payment could not go through.

I think it must be something to do with new security settings as for the first tine today I have been prompted to get a security code on my mobile phone, to proceed with help line call, and when I first tried to join this conversation.

I will try calling again tomorrow- good luck everyone.

Hi Frances. There are several threads on this issue and it seems it's affecting many Australian hosts and it's a technical hitch and nothing you do to alter payment method will help. I and others did that yesterday and still received automated Bank Transfer Reversal emails. Hosts who managed to get on to a real person at Help were told to not do anything to their settings, to wait, maybe 7 days and IT will fix. It's not a problem with the Bank, it's possibly with the Worldpay interface, or due to a software update by airbnb. I did not try phoning again, instead I opted for putting my problem in writing. If you go to "Help" and click on "contact" you will be prompted to click on a box of your choice. I opted to go for "something else" and explained my situation, in general terms, not giving any bank details of course, This morning I received a response email from airbnb saying they would be looking into it, and thank you for my patience. There is advice on contacting airbnb on the Community Centre page, under Support, Help Guides, Contacting airbnb. The Help phone number I use is there- 02 85203333 but I have not tried it again as obviously there must be a lot of calls holding it up, so I opted for the "put it in writing" approach instead.

Same issue here. Updated payout method multiple times with multiple accounts, none of them worked, kept getting the same error message

I am having the same issue. Highly infuriating.

Sames issues here. It sounds like it's just an Australian thing? Anyone have any luck making contact with support or know how long it will take to get rectified?
