This is my firt time using airbnb. For my first reservation, I am supposed to get a payout 48$ via bank transfert, but I recieved only 28$.  For my second reservation, I supposed to get 24$ but I received only 4$!! How come? and Where is the rest of my payout?

Check the details on the reservation confirmation to see what Airbnb expected to payout (any deductions they made), then look at the Transaction history to see if there were any refunds or other things that would have reduced your payout. If neither of those tell you where the extra funds went you'll need to call or contact Airbnb to see what happened.

Hi All and can anyone help ASAP!

I am trying to find how to get in touch with Airbnb reguarding a payout. I run 3 properties and I and they have paid out to the wrong bank account.

Hi,

this is my first time using airbnb. For my first reservation, I was supposed to get a payout 208$ via bank transfert a month ago, but there is still nothing on my bank account, can you help me and what should i do?

I just wanted to add to the conversation that I have contacted Airbnb 3 times in the last week about a payout that I have not received.

I have called them and just received 2 e-mails, one person said it must be my banks fault! Wow great customer servive. The amount that I did not receieve is 992 dollars Canadian(about 880 euros) this is not a small amount of change. I am waiting for the next phase ,they have transferred my file to the transaction department or some name along thjose lines. Bottom line considering they are worth 31 billion u.s. dollars they should do the right thing and just pay me. I also had a big hassle last year to collect from some spills on my chairs(was never paid) and even the woman I dealt with was quite aggresive.

i would appreciate anyone else who has feedback provided it is not to say contact Airbnb or that it must be service fees or because of some other claim etc, which it has nothing to with.

 

We had the same experience as first hosts and can't even work out how to contact AirBnB! 😞

Hi People,

Yes you can contact Airbnb direct if there is a problem, but before you do that investigate the payments into your Airbnb account via>host>account>transaction history.

Do this regularly to get a feel for what payment amounts will be transferred. Don't forget to read the bit on your reservation confirmation notices which will tell you how much you can expect to earn.

Lastly keep in mind that you need to ensure that there is consistency with the currency you select to view your payments in. Otherwise, it may be like the Coney Island mirrors, $amounts will end up looking a little bit distorted.

Hi

 

Can anybody in South Africa assist with this query.  I have just listed my property and am brand new to Airbnb.  Im not sure which payout option to use.  Can anybody give me some advice on the pro's and con's of each option?

@Ivone5, Choose the one that suits you. I just have everything travelling through the one bank account. I gather PayPal is an option, but I don't use my pay pal account for anything but ebay. Just use the system which you personally find it easier to view, monitor and access. Keep reading the FAQ's, so you learn about situations in advance of having them occur.

Hi . I have just had a email from Airbnb asking me to update my payout method. Part of this is was to change my phone details as I now have a new number. Alls good so far until I go to ( add payment method) . As requested I fill in the address press next . this is add payment . I click bank. then next. Here now is the problem.  The page asked me to verify , it does this by sms or phone call. It still has my old mob no even though I have updated the new one which is now showing on my profile. But this page is showing my old no which I no longer have. Help

Hello. I have problem with reservation. You are supposed to pay me the amount 321HRK , but you are paid me only 131HRK , I wonder why it came to that, I never had a problem like this , so I'm a little confused ? You 're writing 321HRK amount , and payment 131HRK, and that is not correct, because so far it was to the principal, amount and payment is same. I hope you'll help me and that will solve this problem . Thank you in advance!!!

@Anita40, hi and sorry that you have not had a reply to this question, as this is a discussion room to swap ideas and learn from one another, it's a little bit different from an actual company helpline. We are not able to give each host specific answers to some questions. You question is an example of a situation that we cannot exactly assist as it requires an Airbnb staffer who is authorised to look into your account transactions with your authority. 

But I can suggest that you can see what Airbnb's activity on your account has been and matters that have been initiated and are pending via your Host menu> "Transaction History". Have a look there and see if you can figure out what is happening, if not you can put in an enquiry direct toAirbnb.

Hi,

I refunded a guest that had to check out a week earlier, I agreed to a partial refund, the guest agreed , all went fine. However since than I have had 2 more guests and havent received any payout or any kind of reference from airbnb with the sum that I owe to be deducted, I have already earned with these last guests what I owe airbnbb yet no sign of payout or anything.

I have posted a question about this a few weeks ago but didnt receive any response.

Would appreciate some help and guidance what should I do?
