Pending sendout

Hi! It's my first time as a host. My guests checked in yesterday and paid by card. I didn't receive any email or message on Airbnb as the payment has been made. Is it that right? My guests leave in two days and I want to make sure they paid, but have no evidence of the payment. Please help.

Hi - check your Reservations - does it show that it is a confirmed reservation. If so, then AirBnB releases payment to you approv 24 hours after their check in. Depending on which payout method you use, you will either receive the money immediately (eg with Paypal) or if it is to a bank account it can take between 1-6 working days to arrive  in your account. Whatever you do, don't ask the guests to pay a second time - you will get a bad review and that is not a good start.

Many thanks for your reply. I was also worried about the payment because I read on a forum that the payment for the new hosts will be processed within 30 days which sounds to me a very very long period of time. Once again, thank you and wishing you a very happy and prosperous new year ahead.
