Perth Western Australia Help and advice damage

Please could anyone help me with any suggestions. We had a reviewed, verified, Airbnb guest who has partially demolished the master bedroom and caused significant damage to not only the house but have broken into the store room etc. Airbnb are giving me the runaround and I spend hours trying to get resolution, I called them immediately as I suspected she was going straight to another Airbnb property, and she did. This has been messed up but not to the degree of hours. So far, repairs are up to about 9,000 dollars.

I have repeatedly scanned, sent endless photos and copies of receipts and invoices, mostly they come back with email undeliverable despite sending it to the email the “specialist” emails me in. Now, they tell me they have “closed” the case as I have not provided the documentation, I obviously have a stream of emails attributing to my efforts but am getting nowhere. The Police are looking for her but, to my shock, I can see she has changed her profile picture on Airbnb so is obviously still active.

I had fair share of similar case but not that extreme damages. My local guest invited her boyfriends and broke into resident car. We had then restricted and prefer not to take on local guest bookings for some are troublesome, steal and damage property. Airbnb check on guest crendential is not effective and at times too relax. My advice to you is restrict local guest bookings. So sorry you had to go through the hassles in claims, police report and fix up the damages. It can be discouraging to continue after such bad experience but if your booking is good will have to weight up the risk and manage on your guest bookings. Don't give up yet.
