Photo ID Request

Received an email from AirB&B this morning requesting photo ID passport and to take a photo of myself in 24 hours or my listing will be cancelled. Luckily I have a photo of my passport so can do this but when I clicked the verification link on the email it was a 404 broken link. I am really worried as I have guests staying in my flat at the moment. Is this a scam email? How do I complete this when the link is broken? My account is verified already has been for years.

it MAY be a phishing email which leads you to the website which looks like Airbnb but it is not. So when you log in to this website they get your username, email, and password and can change your bank account and everything.

Login to htpps://www.airbnb.com on your laptop, check if there is a green padlock on the beginning of URL /address, log in and change your password. Don't forget to check your bank account details, phone etc... If you can't login then contact Airbnb immediately and report it.

I had the same request today but it was via the airbnb messages once i had logged onto Airbnb.
