My family and I recently stayed in an apartment listed as five star when in fact it was barely three star and that was before deducting some rating because of a dirty bathroom, hand basin, bathmat and tea towel amongst other things. There were a number of issues that future guests would want to know about. I outlined all of these issues, along with a couple of positives, in my review, but that review has not been published because the host failed to complete a review of us, his guests. Given what I have since discovered (and surmised), is that this host, who has at least seven apartments listed on AirBnB, does not have many reviews listed, and I wonder if this is a ploy on his part to avoid negative reviews being published.
It seems to me that there is no way for poor accommodation to be called out for what it is, or for past guests to warn future guests about the quality or lack thereof of the premises when the host fails to post a review.
I wanted to bring this to the attention of AirBnB direct rather than multiple members worldwide through this forum, however I cannot find any way to directly contact AirBnB, hence this query.
Can anyone assist in advising me either, 1. how to contact AirBnB direct to let then know about this situation, or 2. how to have a review published when the host fails to complete his side of the equation.
Many thanks,
Grant
