So I would like for airbnb to add an option to send an insta message to guests after they insta book or book a property.
This would mean You could send them a message automatically upon booking without having to manually do it each time.
This could include all check in info or just a welcome message stating that the check in info will be sent the day of check in which leads me to my next suggestion.
Automatically setting when your guests recieve check in info. So instead of upon booking I like to send check in info the day of check in. Allowing host to automatically designate when this info will be sent automatically to guests.
@Melissa118 I would suggest you post your idea in the Host Voice (go to Discuss and see it at the bottom), because good ideas with host support are sent to Air BNB staff for review.
I wonder if you could use the pre- booking message to let potential guests know to expect check in information a day before checkin.
I couldn't agree more! A preset post-booking message would be very helpful - I'd like to thank my guests and assure them everything is confirmed immediately and can follow up later with specifics.
I've tried setting this up through gmail filter triggered workflows with no success, it seems that Airbnb has walled off their messaging system in a way that makes this very difficult. If someone has figured out an alternative solution, please let me know!
