Posts in the CC are getting shuffled around too much - not happy!

Who else has noticed that lately, it sure can be difficult at times to find a post again after temporarily leaving the post  in order to do some research before answering?

So I see a post on the "Top" page or "Recent" page I want to answer to: Because I want to provide a well thought out answer, I temporarily go away, click on the posters profile, study their listing a bit, etc., all just to get the bigger picture and prepare a more nuanced answer.

I then go back to the "Top" page where I had seen the post I want to answer to - only the post isn't there anymore! I then have to figure out where to now find it, as I don't remember if it originated in the Help section or Hosting section, or wherever. This has happened several times lately, very annoying and time consuming, and there have been times I just give up, frustrated, as I just can't find the post any longer. So obviously, the posts in the CC, in every section, move around constantly, no telling where they will be in 10 minutes.

In essence, this newly created constant jumping around of where a post appears, suddenly drops off, then shows up again, etc...doesn't matter to contributors who instantly and spontaneously post their answer, most likely they are not even aware of the problem I am describing here.
But what about us contributors who do some extra research before posting an answer, but the post isn't there anymore where it was 10 minutes before? Seems like our job is only so much harder now and takes more perseverance. If this new development is part of the newly rolled out "simplified Airbnb", then it is there by design, meaning quality is not so desirable any longer, in fact it gets subtely sabotaged - "simplicity" is in instead.
I am close to giving up!

@Annette33

Don't weaken your resolve, and never admit defeat, even when you’re up against overwhelming obstacles, this crap (software) is written by people who never use the site as it would be an appalling vista to contemplate it was designed to confuse and distract attention or bury controversial posts.

While I don’t always agree with your point of view I respect it and admire your commitment to making Airbnb a better place for both Guest and Host alike.

Now Annette get back to work.

@Annette33 - @Cormac0 is correct (again!) - don't give up..... there needs to be a few voices of reason in this place - and your is definitely one of them.

Don't give up Annette, we need you.

Not sure if this will work, as you say the posts jump around, but can't you just save the post to your browser favourites and remove it when finnished replying.

thanx, @Jeff158, that is a very good practical suggestion to follow!  All kinda cumbersome though to do on mobile - I have clumsy fingers  😉 - and also extending my time involvment, when I shouldn't have to think about such defensive measures in the first place .

Reminds me of the scanario where messages we have written to other hosts, simply disappear into cyber space when we hit the send button, lost forever. So defensively, one has to copy first,  just in case it won't go through.

So yeah, the Airbnb software gurus are constantly implementing new stuff, but never fixing known problems.
