Pre-approval question

Hi all

Earlier this evening I sent a pre-approval to a guest and selected the option to block the dates for the 24 hour pre-approval period. Now, just one hour later, I see it says the pre-approval has expired. Can someone tell me if the guest books elsewhere does the pre-approval immediately expire or does the guest have the option of cancelling the pre-approval?

That's a good question! It doesn't seem to clarify that point in the Help Guides about pre-approvals, simply stating that if not booked within 24hours they expire. Hopefully our other community members will be able to shed some light on this?
