Hello community!
I have listed my space for $50/night. I just received a request that shows the price as $12/night. Why is there a discrepancy between the price I have listed and the price my guest can see? How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance,
Max
@Max55 Check your listing under smart pricing you might have it turned on without a set minimum.
Hi @Max55 I looked at your calendar for the next couple of months and see a consistent price. I would suggest you message Air BNB via Twitter and ask about the discrepancy. You should get a quick response.
I am having the same problem! I have called Airbnb several times, and they have admitted there is a glitch. My listing shows up as several hundred dollars per month under what I have listed it for, AND my calendar is also not correct when you view my listing. I just got an email saying my hosting account is suspended because I am declining the many requests that I'm getting due to a ridiculously low and incorrect price. Airbnb told me I have to delete my listing and repost it, but I'll lose all my positive reviews! They are NO HELP whatsover.
Today mine did the same thing. My listing got booked at $10 for Sept 12-13 and I never would have done that. Basically every other day of the year is its regular price. One day somehow magically reflected as a different cost and i get guest booking for that day??? Odd.
I have just started receiving my payout £1 less than my published rates. How do I contact Airbnb to complain about this. This is my second full year with them and its the first time its happened.
I've noticed this on my last two bookings - didnt take much notice as it's only £1 but the pounds add up and my calendar definitely sayd £30 not £29 !! Dont know who to ask about this - anyone know?
Me too! £30 not £29, and it definitely says £30. Should we enquire via Twitter?
I agree. My advertised price has been lowered without consultation. Am not happy. Hence, have to decline guests who naturally apply when the price is ridiculous.
My price is $120 per night (NZ) but now I have 2 potential bookings that show only $79 per night!!????
@Patricia295 When I look at your calendar from the US, whick shows your rate in US dollars, I see $90US which I converted to $123NZD. Are you sure you are seeing the bookings in NZD? I would suggest you send a message via Twitter to Air BNB and ask for a quick look at the reservations and an explanation of the rate.
Good morning, yes your right a pricing error has occured which I will try to rectify today. As a first time user of the site I ran into a lot of difficulties which will stand me in good stead for next time!!
For some unknown reason the pricing settings show $110 a night every two weeks. I didn't set that and although I delete and enter the correct amount it keeps going back to $110!!
