Hi, I want to ask about prices on your site. Is it determined per person or room
@Nana13 This is a host forum in which hosts help each other. I am not an Air BNB staff person. I am sure you will have many, many questions since you are asking such a basic one. A good resource for you to become familiar with the basics is the Help Center. That way you do not have to wait for a host to pop on to the forum and answer 😄
Anyway, for this question the answer is the nightly rate is per room or listing. You can add and extra person charge if the guest party is larger and you can accommodate them. If you have 2 rooms and want to accept guests in each room, you would develop a listing for each room. Good luck!!
Hello @Nana13,
You can price it any way you like. When you look at pricing settings, there will be a base rate for you to set. Depending on how you want to do it, that can be for the first person, or for a bigger group. Then you can set an additional proce per person beyond that number of people.
I have a small room available, and I have set the base rate for one person. I can accomodate an additional person in the room if need be, and I have set an additional fee for the second person.
I have another very big room that can sleep five quite easily. My base rate on that one is for the first three, and then I have an additional fee per person beyond that.
I would suggest you set your base rate for the number of people you expect to be using the place most often.
Hi again @Nana13
I just looked at your place. Currently, your price ($11 US) is set for up to 12 people. It is not per person. A party can book the place right now for that amount of money.
If you are renting room seperately, you need to have a separate listing for each room. If it is all together, you can assume the group renting it will be biggish, so set a base price for a larger group.
