Problem adding a payment method

Hi, I'm an experienced host and am having problems trying to add a new US$ "payment method" 

because the bank is not in the same country as the property in question.

I asked airbnb help desk and they said that the bank and the property have to be in the same country!

I don't believe this is the case as I already have 1 working payment method going to a bank in different country to the property

and I now need to add another bank.

Hello @Wayan19. If Airbnb reps said so, we will not add anything else. Maybe it's for tax reasons that the bank has to be in the same country?
