Hi everyone,
I'm trying to add a payment method but I keep getting the following error message:
Please correct the following:
• Credit card number
I've tried it a few times with more than one credit card and I double checked the numbers on each attempt. Does anyone know how I can solve this?
Thanks
Me too...
They (airbnb) said to contact the bank.
But there is nothing wrong with my cards!
The site displays the error:
Please correct the following:
Same thing. I have a Nubank - MasterCard and it keeps receiving this error. Last week I used the same card to pay on AirBnb.
I have exactly the same problem. I'm trying to add my nubank mastercard and I keep getting
Please correct the following:
• Credit card number
Anyone knows how to solve it? Is this a general problem with cards in Brazil or it happens with some accounts only?
I have the exact same problem. I've tried so far an American Express, a Visa and a Master Card, all 3 international ones.
Was I the only one to notice that we are all Brazilians?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact we are Brazilians...
Apparently, this is due to a limit of US$3000 that can be charged to a Brazilian bank account. At the bottom of the billing page, you should see a note saying just that. I don't know why that is, but it's there.
I called Airbnb and they helped me solve this right after I posted this message, so I don't remember exactly how we did it. Sorry about that.
But, as I recall, the solution was to change the billing country and choose PayPal as the payment method. I think that was it. Hope this is accurate and that it works for you all as well!
Thanks for the responses.
