I am having an issue with replying to guest communications. To be clear, this ONLY HAPPENS WITH MY PHONE.
At the top of every guest communication email, there is an Airbnb instruction that says "Respond to [guest name] by replying directly to this email."
When I simply Reply on my (fully updated) Windows 10 PC running Outlook, my response goes through without any problems, and I can verify this by checking the message thread on Airbnb.
When I simply Reply to that same email on my (fully updated) Samsung Galaxy S4 running Android 5.0.1 with its generic Email app, I get an email from Google's Gmail titled "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)", and my response does not go through.
Yes, I can just log into the Airbnb app and reply to my guest, though that takes longer.
Yes, I can reply to the text message I get, though Airbnb truncates my replies.
Yes, ALL other emails go through and come through without any problems - this ONLY happens with Airbnb guest communication emails.
Yes, I have contacted Airbnb Support, and their answers have vascilated between stupid and useless.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get a simple reply to a guest's email on my phone to go through?
