Problem tenant damage

In March 2018 I rented my apartment to 4 young people for 1 month that made me some damage in my apartment.Good it was settled.But they had also broken the sonette at the bottom of the building and now the community of the building would like me to pay the replacement to me (600 €).
Is this normal ????

What's a 'sonette', @Henri32?
If you're looking for some financial recourse from Airbnb (or the guests), I'd say you have little to no chance after what is more than a year later.
