Problem with blocking out dates on calendar

Hello,

I blocked out some dates and then tried to change them several times. I clicked "saved" to no avail.  Very frustrating!  Using my iPad for this, not the App

You should generally be using a computer, but the Ipad or iphone works just as good. Sometimes the Ical doesn't update.
