Hey we own in a new build and have been hosting since September 2016. Never had any issue with any of our guests nor any complaints directly from neighbours.
However our property management company, firstport, has sent a notice to all residents that they do not all airbnb as a policy of theirs. Has anyone seen this before?
We only rent the spare room on airbnb and are full time residents in our flat.
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
In your position I would give them a call to discuss. Maybe it relates to those who do whole place lettings.
But it might apply to everyone.
You may need to stop doing STRs and think about having a long term tenant.
If you explain the situation to Airbnb they will help any guests who have booked find altenative accommodation.
What does it say in your lease on the subject?
