Question about how payout work after the guest changes reservation after they already checked in.
Hi there, I have a guest who extended their stay with us after AirBNB had already issued the initial payout (for the shorter stay they originally booked) and now they've checked out already and I still haven't received the remainder of their their payment. Is this normal? I was under the impression that AirBNB would charge my guest at the time they requested extension? Thanks!
Did you click to amend to extend the reservation dates? You need to go to the confirmed booking and amend the dates to request money from guest. Then airbnb will proceed with the payment from guest.
I didn't have to do this, as the request came through from the guest and we simply approved their extension request. They then paid airbnb extra for their stay. My problem now is that they checked out 5 days ago, and the remainder of the money is still sitting in my "future payment" with no date indication of what day it's meant to be paid out ot me, where as other future reservations have an estimate. Anyone knows how to solve this?
Just wondering if you ever figured this out and if you ended up recieving your payment for the extension?
I am in a similiar boat and cannot find any answers as to how and when to get paid out for a guest extension. The only posts I see don't seem to have any resolutions posted and airbnb keeps telling me that they've sent my question to a higher dept and to wait for their response. It's been 4 days! Is there any hope?
We did get a resolution fromAirbnb, but it took three phone calls and all up over two and a half weeks to sort out. Finally got paid over a month after guest had left. Calling them seems to be the only answer
