For whatever reason our nightly rates are showing incorrectly. We have a specific nightly rate - we do not use smart pricing. And yet, the rates displayed are varying widely. We tried to remedy this by turning smart pricing on and setting a specific range, but that didn't work either. I cannot find any sort of link for technical support.
Help anyone? We do not want our home booked at these lower rates but can't find a way to get rid of them. Thanks in advance!
@Wendy1437 Wendy explore the dashboard and look for anywhere a discount could have been applied . Remove smart pricing or special offers and check that , if you have different weekend prices , it has not just averaged your price out per week . H
And to be honest, no we never found out what the real problem was. It has been resolved after numerous emails. But we were told everything from: oh you are part of the P1 and P2 beta test that averages all of your possible rates together; Then there was that we were not part of some beta test and the rate being displayed was an average of our available rates. Note that the rate being displayed was $178. The two rates that were supposedly being averaged were $179 and $189, which should have put a $184 rate.
after I pointed out the flaw in their logic and stated that if we didn't get it resolved that we ran the risk of someone taking legal action for misleading advertising, it is somehow miraculously fixed.
Thank you Helen. We did go through all of that. You can read the entertaining final resolution below.
