AirBnB is Unavailable and Unresponsive

Can anyone give me the number to call Airbnb directly.  Also can you explain why if you have a question or concern you're directed to ask the community center?  Are the people of the community center actually employeed by Airbnb?  If not, why are we speaking to said community center?  Airbnb collects their fees from both host and guest, therefore they should be directly responsible to the host and guest.
