Rejecting Bookings That Breach House Rules

How do you decline a booking which breaches the house rules or party size without it impacting your performance?  For example a party of 6 in accommodation for 5 or where you say no pets but the guests wish to bring a dog?

If the booking has taken place, you would need to contact airbnb and have them cancel on your behalf.  

If it is a booking request, you can ask the potentiaI guest to withdraw the request.  If they fail to do so, you would have to decline.

If it is an inquiry, responding to the message will do.
