I had previously set many custom prices on my calendar - and now would like to just remove them, instead using the standard price I have for my listing. Is this possible? I can't figure out a way to remove overrides that I set directly on my calendar.
Thanks,
Steven
I tried to select a whole year of dates and turn on smart pricing but it kept freezing....so then I went in 30 days at a time and made them available and turned on smart pricing and that seemed to override any custom prices previously set. Hope that helps
It does appear that switching smart pricing on and then off again removes any prior custom prices you have set in the calendar.
Turning Smart Pricing on then off doesn't seem to be working currently. Also, turning it off for specific dates is not allowed without setting a price for those dates.
Any update on being able to turn off your custom pricing? I turned Smart Pricing on then off and it didn't work. I have turned on "professional tools" but still can't figure it out.
Same issues here and I also tried turning on and off smart pricing. It's as if once you set a custom price, there is no going back.
Same issue here. Being able to reset all pricing to the default ones would be a welcome option.
Same problem here. I once had smart pricing and it was a pain to try to turn off... Not really wanting to jump those hurdles again. There needs to be a default setting to click on somewhere.
We are about to celebrate the 5th birthday of this bug soon, yeh~
I can confirm once you set the price of a particular weekday manually, then it can never be revert to "Default" which change as per change in "Base price". Weekend price has no such issue, whenever you change weekend price, all manually set weekend price will be wiped and changed to the "Weekend price".
Precisely, weekday price CANNOT be revert to default by
- Turning On then Off Smart Price
- Set the manual prices to same as Base Price
-Set the manual prices to min / max allowed prices
-Unlist then relist the listing
Turning smart pricing on worked for me. All dates now showing the same price with smart price logo 🙂
6 years, yay! It doesn't work for me either. But it appears the best solution will turn out to be google maps.
This seems like something that should be so obvious to the site designers. Can't believe this has been going on for so long. They keep implementing new things but don't fix simple quality of life issues like this. I had an external smart pricing program that set all kinds of prices to remove. Such a PITA!
Managed to get weekday and weekend prices set. Had to:
1) Enable smart pricing & set max & min to my weekday price.
2) Select as many dates as possible in the calendar and then manually edit the dates and deactivate the smart pricing on those dates. They defaulted to my weekday price.
3) Back to the listing page, disabled smart pricing (and gave them a piece of my mind on this design flaw in the reason why block)
4) Changed the weekend price to what I wanted. If it was already set there, I had to change it to something else, let it apply, and then change it back.
Each step refreshing the calendar page to verify the steps were successful.
And having my stereo cranked up really helped too...
