Reservation “Inquiry” or “Request” - What's the Difference: A Community Help Guide

I have recently recieved a request by "Michael" for a trade stay in his place for a reduction in fees at my place. How do I contact him or Airbnb to alert everyone involved??

Why do you need to alert Airbnb?  Seems like a fine proposition to me.

@John397

If he sent you a booking request to accept or decline the proper price of your listing will be in it.

You can send him a message beforehand saying you don't want to but will accept his booking as requested within the 24h window if he doesn't retract it    😄

His problem undoing it then.

If it's simply an inquiry you can pre-approve his inquiry with your full costs and also send him a message that you don't do trade offs.

Again his problem while you reacted without declining.
