Reservation cancelled and payment made twice

Hi all,

 

We need your help! Already some weeks a go me and my friends decided to go on a short trip to Barcelona during summer.
After a long search we placed a reservation and accidently paid the amount twice. We contacted our host to tell them the story of paying twice the amount. They told us that Airbnb would pay us back the money within the next 7 business days.

Unofrtunately, we still didn't receive back our money and the reservation is also cancelled via Airbnb.

 

What to do right now? The Airbnb booking phone number is unavailable after trying for 4 days in a row.

Did you pay by credit card - if so call them and they have a legal obligation to sort out anomalies on your transaction list. 

 

Otherwise contact Airbnb via Twitter- search for Airbnbhelp

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately we didn't pay via credit card since it was rejected somehow.
