I have a 10 day reservation with a guest and I have just been informed by his wife whom isn’t traveling with that they want to change their reservation to at first just one day now he will spend one more night and want me to accept their reservation change. I guess I want to know what my options are as I have blocked out 10 days for his reservation???!
@James1156 Change your cancellation policy to avoid these issues. It doesn't matter if you agree to change it or not you are still getting nothing because he can still cancel and not have to pay you just AirBnB's service fee's he's trying to avoid those also by the altered reservation. You need at least a Moderate policy to avoid this kind of thing from happening often and at the last minute.
Not sure how to change my cancellation policy as I am new to this and very tech challenged.
@James1156 Go to Listing, then click on Booking Settings. Scroll down the page to Policies and click Edit. You change it there, do not forget to save it.
