Respond to inquiry without approving their request

I have a potential guest that has a few questions before committing to an exact date.  How can I respond to their inquiry without approving their request?  I only see options for approval / denial that must be checked before I can respond.

Hi Michael - once you click on accept/denial it should take you to the message history page and you will see an option to respond/send message there.  Thanks, Roger

If you go to their message in your inbox and check on it you should be able to reply to the message without accepting or declining.  If they have 'requested' to stay and you click 'approve' then their reservation will occur as soon as you click approve.  If they have 'inquired' and you click on 'pre-approve' then they will still need to do another step in order to have a reservation.  So if it is an 'inquiry' then it is not really a 'request.'
