Responding but not accepting or declining

Received a booking request last night for 3 nights for New Year.  Newbie - no profile, no pics, no reviews, verifications or my intro questions answered.  I advised that I’d need more info, ID added etc and she then advised that her friend that would be one of the guests was fully set up on Airbnb so she could take care of it etc.  I think I’ve fudged a billet with this one but how does responding  to requests fare against declining or accepting - is it viewed the same  way?

@Amanda660 @It only becomes an issue if you regularly decline bookings (and there is a distinction between enquiries and booking requests). If it was a booking request make sure you have now declined it as otherwise it will show as an open request that you have not accepted
