Return money to guest

I have guest who paid before I accept the booking, but somehow my apartment no longer available.

I've cancelled the reservation, but how can I confirm that the money did return to that guest?

kAir bnb's websie is not working and I have wasted the entire day trying to reeturn money I owe to a guest.  Air bnb REFUSES to take responsibility and IO'm afraid I'll get a bad review.  THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER!

If the guest did not stay at your listing, then you (host) have not been paid. If the guest claims that a payment has been made, then the money is with Airbnb.

 

Unless Airbnb has handed money over to you (host) on behalf of the guest's reservation - which in reality DOES NOT HAPPEN - then it is not your job or responsibility as a host to worry about whether the guest recieved money back due to cancellation. It is between the guest and Airbnb.

They will always contact the Host as it so much easier than contacting Airbnb as @Jessica & Henry said it’s got nothing to do with you as Airbnb control the money.

My guest wants to leave the apartment before planned ( a log booking of 35 days), how I can give back his money.

I agree he leaves earlier.
