As a new host I’ve worked hard to get 5 star reviews across the board and take pride in being a host and take my role seriously. Sadly I was reviewed based on my guests experience of google maps, they rated my location as a 4 as google maps got her lost, even though I have excellent directions and maps available to all my guests once they have a confirmed booking and encourage them to only use my directions, she even suggested to future guests that they also ask me for directions prior to their arrival, clearly she didn’t follow her own advice or mine! Also to add insult to injury her 4 star check in review was also based on the google map situation, all of which she admits on her post! I hope Airbnb update their policy soon as this is hard to take for hosts that are working hard & want their guests to have the best experience possible!
