I replied to the AirBnB email about reviewig my guest, but I don't see it on the website. Also, when I go back to the email and click on the link, it takes me to the review -- what I've written is still there but doesn't seem to have been submitted. I am a new host (my third guest is here at the moment!) so I'm still in the learning stages! Thanks for your help.

welcome to hosting on ABB!
Sometimes, it take a bit of time for your written review to be published.
Thanks, Corliss!

@Heather0, thanks. For our first guest, it was almost instantaneous -- we gave them a review and they immediately gave us one. So I guess that's what I was expecting. I'll be patient. 🙂
@Linda-and-Gregg0 you have gotten your answer from @Heather106 and I want to add one more little suggestion to you as a new host. Read what is in front of you when you get emails or navigate the system. In the prompt to review is the statement about when the review will be published. I mention this because not only do I see many questions from new hosts that have not availed themselves of the information available right in front of them, but because it took me a while to train myself to do that step. 😄 Good luck and I hope you continue to enjoy hosting.
@Linda0, that is a very good suggestion. I guess because the first guest was so prompt, I wasn't reading the fine print, so to speak. 🙂 Appreciate all the good feedback from everyone, we are enjoying hosting.
@Linda-and-Gregg0 Another thing that's good to know is that you have 48 hours to edit your review after submitting it if the guest has not already submitted a review and the 14 days isn't over. But it's always best to make sure a review says exactly what you want to say before submitting.
@Sarah0, so far it's been all good. My challenge is coming up with different ways to say they were great guests without repeating myself!
@Linda-and-Gregg0 I know what you mean. I do try to say something in different ways for different guests, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's a challenge. But it doesn't really matter much if all the reviews you write for good guests have more or less the same wording, because guests don't normally go look at all the reviews you left for guests (and think, "gee, they reviewed me exactly like they reviewed everyone else, and here I thought I really made a good impression") , they only read the reviews that guests left you.
