recently I have not been getting reviews onto our listing. All are there on our 'log in' review page, the reviews and my respones but the guests reviews are not showing up on our house listing. All my reviews are done with 48 hours of a guest departing & responses from guests have always been done within a week of departure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated in advance

@Deborah154 Relax! All your reviews can be seen on your listings. I just viewed both of your listings one have 59reviews and the other one has 2reviews. Keep calm and carry on. Good luck!!!

Hello Oomash

I wonder would you mind having a look at mine because the last review I see for my cottage is for March,

Yet I received notification of reviews throughout the summer!!

Thank you in advance,

Stephanie

@Stephanie58 No worries there is a total of 102 reviews for your <Quiet Cottage off the beaten track with internet> and the lastest 2 reviews were posted in August 2017. As i previously told Deborah and now to you is keep calm and carry on hosting!!!

I just learned that AirBnB is listing reviews by home country & language, then other countries & languages.  So all my recent, fabulous, foreign guest reviews are showing up on P 6, etc.  This is RIDICULOUS.  Guest reviews should appear chronologically.  Please join me in requesting that AirBnB effect this immediately.

Please join me in complaining LOUDLY

will do Janine, we have 3 AIRBNB listings and in particular our Queenstown New Zealand property, a lot ofof guests are international and post in their own language, something we have NEVER discouraged

Hi Janine

It is ridiculous, all reviews should be seen by mos recent, anybody can scroll down to see others that might be in their language and anyway they can translate the reviews if needed.

Please, where do I complain?

Cant seem to get hold of Airbnb admin these days....another negative for an otherwise wonderful site!!

Stephanie

@Stephanie58 This is quite unfair for comments who are in other languages than english appearing at the bottom of the list but i think its more of a country issue than language. I have notice that Airbnb will display comments on top of the list from people of a certain region of the world. You can always contact Airbnb on the following number Ireland: +353 1 697 1831 and tell them how you feel about all this 🙂 . Good luck!!!

Hi Stephanie,

Totally agree that this new way of ordering reviews is unnecessary and can be a liability to hosts.  We have a not-so-positive reveiw at the top of our Canadian reveiws that has been there since October and won't be replaced until we get another review from a Canadian traveller.  In the meantime we have receieved many positive reviews from guests from other countries, but potential guests from Canada don't know this!!  It's very frustrating, and unnecesary as guests can use simply use the translate button to translate reveiws as needed.

If you go to the help centre, there is a button near the bottom that allows you can submit feedback on this, or any other, issue.  I did 🙂

Cheers,

Tracey

Just found this out too, and sent my feedback via the feedback button. Will try to phone when I get the chance.  This just makes no sense and is negatively impacting our business.  We have had a not so positive reveiw from a Canadian guest at the top of our Canadian reveiws since October, even though we have had many positive reveiws from guests from other countries since.  Unfortunately, no one in Canada knows this, thanks to the new ordering system.  It's very frustrating!!

My last 4 guests have not reviewed my place.  I review immediately hoping they will want to review so they can read their review but that has not been the case.  Am I supposed to ask my guest to review and remind them they only have 14 days to review?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi Micheal,

It is not necessary to remind guests to reveiw you as Airbnb does that automatically (usually twice/three times during the reveiw period). Many guests simply choose not to reveiw, often because they are simply busy.  Don't take offence.  I'm sure you are doing a great job.  Sometimes we get several guests in a row who choose not to review. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Tracey
