How do I change a review I have already made for a guest. I did not realize how poorly the guest followed cleanliness rules and their dishonesty about having more than the agreed upon number of people stay at the apartment.

Hi @Alie3 🙂

I'm afraid it isn't possible to change a review after it is submitted.

Otherwise we couldn't really depend on the reviews to be honest. Would you feel comfortable about writing a bad review if the guest could read it and then afterwards alter his/her review of you making a revenge review?

How is it you didn't know when you wrote the review that the guest did bring extra friends etc?

Kind regards, Sandra

@Alie3 @Sandra856 you do have some time to edit a review (48 hours?) if the review period hasn't closed and the guest hasn't reviewed. After that, no.

@Alie3, you have 48 hours or until the guest submits his.  Here is the link to the instructions: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/367/can-i-edit-a-review-i-wrote

Thank you for the constructive help with the link. I'm in the section but do not see the review I've since submitted so that I can attempt to edit. If you have any ideas here I am grateful.

@Alie3 Yes, as @John1080 and @Lisa723 say. I'm sorry I believed both reviews were submitted. I should have asked you before answering 🙂

@Alie3   Sorry you had a guest leave a mess and sneak in more people.

You'll just have to consider this one a learning experience- never submit a review until you've throughly inspected the space after a guest leaves and if you have someone who cleans for you, make sure they know to notify you right away if they find a mess, or damaged items.
