I got yesterday a guest from Colombia, she took a cab to get to my place and the driver gave her a tour. My house is located in the 2nd point of interest in the city, everybody knows how to get there.
The cab supposly called me but I did not get any call.
Later she called me, at the time of her check in trying to cancel on me and threatening that she was going to give me a bad review.
I told her that she was canceling after check in time and she needed to follow airbnb policies in regards of that.
I offer to pay for and Uber to try to settle and she took the offer.
My concern is , how do you manage to do "damage control" in this case? What she really wanted was for me to reimburse her for the night when she even was at her check in time?
Does anybody had to deal with this?
