Hey all,
I don't seem to be able to find an option to set seasonal nightly prices on AirBnB like you can on other hosting websites. I can set weekly prices (but those weekly dates are also fixed which is annoying as well). Am I missing something (which could easily be the case)?
Thanks,
Jay
Yes, there is. Go to your price settings and you will find several options like custom pricing etc.
Dear Estel and Marit,
Thanks for taking the time to reply (sorry I did not notice earlier that I forgot to subscribe to my own post).
Unfortunately I think I have explored the suggestions that you have provided and it's not quite what I'm looking for. For custom settings, it only allows you to set a weekly or monthly rate.
For example, during the winter months (October, November, December, January, Febuary, March), I want to have a nightly price of $120/night ($140/weekend night). In the spring and summer (all the other months), I want to set a price of $145/night ($165/weekend night).
From what I can see, it only allows me to set one nightly price and one weekend price.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance,
Jay
Jay, finding the same issue. ‘Trying to set seasonal pricing and the help center says to click on pricing tab in upper right corner of site, then select Long-term pricing but there is no such link available. Any one know how to set seasonal pricing?’
Bob
You can set prices manually directly into the calendar.
You can set pricing in the calendar that's true but let's look at the reality of that...
Anyone have any thoughts please? I'm really not enjoying my AirBNB experience as an owner and, having seen zero interest in the last month am questioning why we need to bother?

You can differentiate between double and single occupancy and you can set seasonal rates in your calendar settings.
Thanks Anne... I must be being thick but I can't see where or how... any steer you can give would be gratefully received 🙂
Still nothing there on seasonal pricing... just more than 20 articles from other users... was I supposed to trawl through every one looking for the solution?
Please don't be offended, I'm not angry with you guys, just very frustrated with online service providers' strategy to not provide sufficient help or support for users and just let other users muddle their way through and suggest a few tips that might or might not work, along the way!!!
Still don't know how to set ****ing seasonal pricing on this tool 😞

Swearing to fellow hosts who try to help you will not get you far.
Search for community help guides please or try the pricing setting tool in your listing.
From your pricing setting tool there is a link to an article on how to set prices.
And yes - it takes a bit of time and effort learning how the site works. That is part of the business.
I didn't swear "at" anyone.... and as I explained directly to you and the other kind posters, I was frustrated at Air BnB and NOT at users. I'm not sure how I could have been more clear on this point? If we never express frustration, corporate culture dominates and rides rough-shod over society - a little revolution is needed every now and then, no?
All the best (meant it before and still do)

You set your seasonal pricing in your availability settings under reservation preferences. There is even a link saying so. Please take a closer look.
There is also an option to enter prices directly into your calendar.
I believe these issues are all taken care of in the community help guides.
It's a work around but you can select individual nights or a block of nights on your calendar page. A window will pop up to the right and there will be a box that lets you set "Prices for the night". Buy changing that number you only change the prices for the selected nights. The rest of the calendar remains unchanged. You have to do it individually for each room. Good luck.
