Security deposit and extra charge for additional guests

I set the fee on the app for the guests to pay an extra 10 per additional guests after 3 people, but I’m not sure if it works automatically or the customer need to noted in their reservation also the security deposit.

@Alfredo249 the extra guest fee is automatically calculated when the guest selects the correct number of guests (which in many cases they try to avoid where there is an extra fee so I would suggest confirming after booking and letting them know that extra people will be denied entrance) and the security deposit is not collected at all.

Is weird because he put the number of guests in the reservation,  how they avoided even putting the number of people? Also the security deposit is not showing

I mean if security deposit is not showing that means the security deposit is not hold by the host or Airbnb?
