Service Fees & Occupancy Taxes

Why are there large services fees and occupancy taxes being charged on top of my rate? I have never seen this before, is it something new??

There has always been a service fee charged to you, and also one to the person booking.

Local taxes: in some jurisdictions AirBnB has an agreement with tax authorities to collect and pay tax for bookings, in others it is up to the host to declare and pay.

I thought Airbnb took 3% out of my price...this was a larger fee on top of it when I sent a special offer to a guest. I ended up having to lower my fee so they would be paying the amount we agreed on. I have also never noticed the tax before. I thought all of these things were supposed to be built into my price?

They are high and I was suppose to get a breakdown from airbnb but never got it

I have been blocked from using the site. No explanation. I cannot got to set my payout. I have complained for over two weeks, and I am still blocked. My guest has been at my house for 12 days, yet I do not have a penny from airbnb. No case manager has ever called.
