Service fees

Service fees

Hi, can anyone tell me why it says on my home page that there is a $398 service fee charged to guests?  It states "This helps us run our platform and offer services like 24/7 support on your trip".

This is not correct as the service fee is actually only $84. How do I change the misleading information that is detering any bookings?

Thanks,

Suzanne

Your listing showed me a fee of $295. This is based on the seven night minimum and your rate which came to $2,374

For service fee information view the link below.

If you read the link provided above by @Lisa1831  you will be able to see that there are 2 types of service fees - GUEST service fees (which are added onto the accomodation fees and charged to guests, they say it's 0~20% of the subtotal but my experience is that it's usually about 10~18%) and HOST service fees (which are deducted from the host payout, about 3~5%).

In the end, there will be a 20% or so difference between what the guest pays in total and what the host actually receives as a payout.
