Setting Prices for Additional Guests

Hi,

Apologies if this topic has already been discussed, but we can't a similar thread anywhere..

We are trying to pre-set different prices for Additional Guests depending on the time of year. For example, during high season, the charge for each additional guest is €30, during low season, it's €10.

Does the system allow us to do that ? If we wait until the high season to change the cost for additional guests, we will have received many advanced bookings, but at the low season rate for additional guests..

Does anyone else have this problem ? Is there a way around it ? We were thinking of duplicating our listings to have  'high season' and 'low-season' listings so we could set different pricing for additional guests. However, with multiple listings, this will be quite an arduous task to setup and maintain, particularly when dates cross over. 

Any ideas, comments, suggestions much appreciated !

I think your method with two listings might be the best one.  I don't think there is a way to do that without changing the pricing settings now and then.  And of course, you are correct - you would lose the money from the advance bokings.  The other alternative would be to only book, say up to two months ahead (or one?).
