Short Term rental reporting

In SF, We are required to report to the Office of Short Term Rentals, quarterly, the number and length of stays that we rent out out our unit.

I know that our taxes are separated and paid by AirBnB (correct) but do we still have to report our stays or does AirBnB do that for us as well.

Thanks

Any response from AirBnB?

Laura, yes you have to report all stays to the Office of Short Term Rentals. Airbnb remits taxes but does not report stays on your behalf. It's a really simple process and takes me about 10 minutes each quarter.
