I've had my house listed over a week. I had my boyfriend view my house and send a "test" request and my listing STILL shows 0 views, 0 requests!! Why?!

@Mara51 First, your stats are not to be relied on - they are at least 3 days out of synch and not to be trusted anyway.

Second your place will not come up in many general searches as you only have 1 week or so available out of the next 12 months. So it doesn't make sense for it to jump ahead of lots of other new listings that have a lot of a availability during the year. It should come up when people search for specific dates, but again it will be lower down the listing due to the cost, size of the house (if it is a smaller party) lack of availability generally, etc..

Ok thank you so much! I would like to open it up for other dates; I'm just not sure when people would want to rent my house in Houston during the year..
