Smart Pricing - how to set high/low for weekday price v weekend price

Smart Pricing - how to set high/low for weekday price v weekend price

I have smart pricing turned on for my calendar. During the week I offer a lower price than for weekend days. Smart pricing request a high and a low price to be set. The issue I have is that I can only set one high/low price and I'm finding that my weekend price goes below the lowest price I would want to get for those dates. Is there a way to set a low/high price when offering different prices?

I'm pretty sure there's an option that allows you to set your weekend price.

If you are using the Airbnb app on your phone you can find it in EXTRA CHARGES.

"Weekend price per night

This replaces your fixed price for every Friday and Saturday."

No, there isn't. When you turn on smart pricing, it uses your high/low rate for every day. Your weekend rate is superseded by the smart pricing.

When I turned on smart pricing, I then went through my calendar and manually reset every weekend that was below my weekend rate.

When you change a rate that smart pricing has set, the site does ask why you over rode the rate so it can "learn".

It's still learning...

Do you think and hope or do you know, that the system is learning?

I hope too, but I not really believe.

Can anyone advise me how to set the price on a sliding scale. ie. two nights is one price and then three nights the price is reduced.
