Smart pricing

I don't see how to put in a different minimum for weekends on smart pricing.   To me, it doesn't look very "smart" suggesting a low of $37.  and a high of $339.  when last season this particular property was booked 24 to 27 days a month with a minimum of $150  It looked to me it could only work with minimum prices that were different on weekends.

@Andrew45 I don't use Smart Pricing since it doesn't take into account the Occupany Taxes I have to pay.  If you are not comfortable with Smart Pricing, turn it off.  I have yet to hear a ringing endorsement of any host for this feature.  😞

Thank you Clare.  Your point is partly , I think, there's not yet an easy substitute for one's knowledge of the local market.  About the taxes - interestingly, Airbnb has as of February started automatically adding "hotel tax" onto quotes on our Matlacha Florida property, but not our our properties in Woodstock, New York.  My guess is this feature will eventually come to all or most locations as Airbnb attempts to molify opposition from local governments and neighbors.

I have a similar concern...

Weekend pricing vs smart pricing: I have weekend pricing switched on as well as smart pricing. Weekend pricing is supposed to override smart pricing. I received a booking for a weekend stay, but the weekend pricing did not apply. If you find out anything, will you please share it?

Has there been an update to this?  Does Weekend Pricing override Smart Pricing?  My weekend pricing is much higher than my weekday minimum would be.
