Smoking

We are avidly anti-smoking and put it on our profile. Our guest just showed up, is smoking off the premises, but now the whole room smells like smoke. Can I ask her to leave and refund her money? This is way more hassle than it's worth.

I had the same question. A guy booked a trip for his son. Bad enough one of my prescription bottles came up missing (which customer service has yet to respond to me about). I doze off on my couch and wake up feeling like my nose was burning. I knock on the room door and tell the dude there is no smoking. It is also stated in my house rules which he has been observing by going outside to smoke. I guess he doesn't feellike it. He goes back inthe room and continues to smoke!! I am a woman who lives alone and rents the room out and usually have pretty easygoing guests. I am asking him to leave and this will be the last hosting I will do for a while.
