Sorting out our address

Please amend our address to read Oakwrights Hall, Braintree Road, Terling, CHELMSFORD, Essex, CM3 2AW

Hi @Lorna10, this is a community forum, it's not the support desk for AirBnB so there is nothing that anyone here can do re changing the address. We had the same problem as the autolocation feature is rubbish and either put our house in the wrong part of the village or defaulted to the house next door! Where we are the streets have no name and the houses have no number, just names, so it caused the AirBnB system all sorts of problems. They really should allow hosts to enter the address EXACTLY as the host wants it.

But I found a way round round it that doesn't involve trying to chat to an AirBnB member of staff. If you have access to an iPad you can change the address on the app. It's not possible on a computer/laptop but is still do-able on the iPad app.

Hi @Lorna10,

You cannot change your address of your listing on the Airbnb website using a computer BUT you can however change the address on the Airbnb app on iOS or Android.

1. Download and install the Airbnb app
2. Go to your "listings" (building icon)
3. Click on your listing image
4. Scroll down and choose "Location"
5. Click the address
6. Click on the pencil and edit the address
7. Choose "Done"

Wow, thank you David for this info, normally it's the other way round, you can do most stuff on the laptop but not on the mobile app - it's great to know this can be amended here.

I think I'll play around with the app a bit more see what other great thing it can do :-)!
