Hi,

We've been hosting since May and have really been happy, and have our first returning guest.  We offer a discount to returning guests but since we have instant book on, not sure how to do it since I can't make a special offer when they are automatically booked.  I ended up giving them a gift card, but figure there must be ways I just don't know about yet.

once they've booked you go back in the reservation and change it. Send them an accompanying message as to why. ABB will adjust their fees (and taxes if applicable) accordingly and guests will be notified and need to accept the offer.

Use this to change # of guests, dates, amount. The amount is calculated automatically and includes all your fees, so you have to make sure to calculate the price accordingly and where it differs (as in reductions or additional charges) you over-write it.

Thanks SO much for your reply Andrea and just in time.  I had a guest want to add a guest and was able to do so easily from my end, thanks to your help.  Now hopefully they'll accept it and it will be easy/peasy all around.  Thanks again!

Glad it helped!

If you ever have guests arrive with more people than booked for , you will thus be well-prepared and  can tell them that you'll have to adapt that. Ask them in and sit them down before going further, make the change, then have them log in or go to their device and accept, and presto they're allowed in  🙂

Too many hosts go for the guest suggestion that they're tired and can we do that tomorrow, and tomorrow never happens, excuse and/or no reaction, then guest has left and never up-graded.

A hotel doesn't let you into the room without a proper check in and counting of heads.
