Start / End dates of airbnb booking.

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been answered before. I'm very new to airbnb. 

If I make a booking from the 20th december - 23rd december...

20th december would be the 'check in' day

What would be the checkout day? 23rd? Or would it be the 24th? Would 23rd count as one night?

Say your host's check-in time is 2 pm and check-out is 11 am. 

If you book Dec 20 to 23, you will check in at 2 pm on Dec 20, and check out at 11 am on Dec 23. Three nights.

If you need to sleep at the place on the evening of Dec 23, you need to book until Dec 24. Four nights.

However I don't think this is the way it should be...since you're paying for a full days worth of staying but checking out at 11am.

@Devin53  No, you're not paying for a full day's worth of staying. You wouldn't be paying for the 23rd, that's just your check-out day. You'll be charged for 3 nights, the 20th, the 21st, and the 22nd.
