Today my confidence in Airbnb has been shattered !!
I was fully verified by Airbnb in mid 2016 to be a host. Included in that verification was a copy of my government ID which I provided.
Even as recently as yesterday, my profile indicated that I was fully verified, government ID included.
Today, my account was restricted apparently because I hadn't provided a government ID.
If that was true, then Airbnb's process of verifying hosts is flawed as I have since hosted over 30 parties of guests since June on 2016. Does that also mean that I am to question the validity of Airbnb's verification of my guests?
I try to be a responsible host, but am greatly hindered if I have to waste time provide them with information previously provided and verified in my profile.
Since my account is restricted, I cannot provided the attention to my guests thanks to Airbnb.
Any other hosts having similar problems with Airbnb?
