My cohost recently snoozed our listing by blocking all upcoming dates. In order to continue the business, I had to create a new duplicate listing. However, after all my hard work over 5 months, I was not able to retain any of my dozen 5-star reviews or my super host status. Called Air BNB and was told there was nothing they can do. Basically, I am starting from scratch. This must have happened to thousands of others.
@Barb93 Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer reviews from one person to another: your reviews belong to your co-host because she was the primary host, rather than to both of you jointly or the property itself. You could ask her to unsnooze the listing and just block all future dates for booking so that your prosepctive guests can see the previous reviews.
You can also ask your co-host to make you the primary host on that original listing and remove her/him from it as the then “co-host”, if this is what you want.
This way you can keep the previous reviews for the original listing (just make sure you deactivate the replicated one and transfer any bookings to the original).
Regarding the whole “becoming superhost” you would need to begin again but I am sure that if you continue with how you were previously then you will get there again!
