Hi there, I would like to find out how airbnb calculates the & under star ratings. I have 600 reviews and have had only 2 x 1 star ratings (surely every host with many reviews has had 1 or 2 of these) , but according to airbnb's calculations it says i have 1% of 1 star reviews? according to my basic math this is not accurate. It also says I have 3% of 3 star reviews that calculates to 18 but I only have 10 of them? It truly frustates me that somone like me who has 600 reviews and a 4.7 average doesnt make superhost statues but people with only 10 reviews receive this all the time. Personally I think its a much bigger achievement to have 600 reviews and a 4.7 average than 10 reviews with 4.8 . Is there anyone out there who is in the same boat?
The assessment for Superhost status takes into account your performance over the last year- so if your 600 reviews were all made within the last year they will all be taken into account- if not only the ones during the past year.
I'm sure you have, but have a look in the progress tab>Superhost and you can see where you are sitting at the moment in terms of progress.
